Delrin® AF Blend, featuring a composition of 13% PTFE (Standard Grade), is a specialized thermoplastic material designed for applications involving moving parts where low friction and extended wear life are critical. This material consists of PTFE fibers uniformly dispersed within Delrin® acetal resin, ensuring optimal performance in various environments. The standard formulation includes 13% PTFE fiber-filled, whereas the LF-13 variant is specifically 13% PTFE powder-filled. Additionally, a full-strength version, Delrin 100AF, which contains 20% PTFE, is available on a custom order basis. The DE588 variant of Delrin® 100AF is fully certified according to US Naval specifications, guaranteeing compliance with rigorous operational standards.
