Delrin® AF Blend is a specialized thermoplastic material designed for moving parts where low friction and extended wear life are essential. This blend consists of PTFE fibers, with 13% PTFE uniformly dispersed in Delrin® acetal resin, ensuring optimal performance in applications requiring durability and reduced friction. The standard grade includes 13% PTFE fiber-filled LF-13 and is consistently a 13% PTFE powder-filled product. For specific applications, a full-strength version, Delrin 100AF with 20% PTFE, is available upon custom order. Additionally, DE588 is a fully-certified variant of Delrin® 100AF that meets US Naval specifications, ensuring compliance with rigorous industry standards.
