Delrin® AF Blend is a specialized thermoplastic material designed for applications involving moving parts where low friction and extended wear life are critical. This material comprises a combination of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) fibers, which are uniformly dispersed in Delrin® acetal resin, typically containing 13% PTFE fiber-filled LF-13, while Delrin® 100AF is available with 20% PTFE on a custom order basis. The DE588 variant of Delrin® 100AF is fully certified for compliance with US Naval specifications, ensuring suitability for demanding environments.
