Delrin® AF Blend is a unique thermoplastic material designed for moving parts where low friction and extended wear life are critical. This material is a blend of PTFE fibers, uniformly dispersed in Delrin® acetal resin, typically containing 13% PTFE fiber-filled. For applications requiring additional strength, a full-strength Delrin 100AF with 20% PTFE can be ordered on a custom basis. The DE588 variant of Delrin® 100AF is fully certified for U.S. Naval specifications, ensuring compliance with rigorous standards.
