Delrin® AF Blend (Delrin® AF Blend with 13% PTFE [Standard Grade]) is a specialized thermoplastic material designed for moving components where low friction and extended wear life are critical. This material consists of PTFE fibers that are evenly distributed within Delrin® acetal resin, typically containing 13% PTFE fiber-filled LF-13 and always incorporating 13% PTFE powder-filled attributes. Additionally, full-strength Delrin 100AF, which contains 20% PTFE, is available upon custom order. The DE588 variant is a fully-certified version of Delrin® 100AF that meets US Naval specifications, ensuring its compliance with stringent military standards.
