Delrin® AF Blend is a specialized thermoplastic material designed for moving parts where low friction and extended wear life are essential. This blend incorporates 13% PTFE fibers uniformly dispersed in Delrin® acetal resin, ensuring enhanced performance in demanding applications. The standard grade consists of 13% PTFE fiber-filled LF-13 and is always 13% PTFE powder-filled. For applications requiring even greater strength, a full-strength variant, Delrin 100AF with 20% PTFE, is available on a custom order basis. Additionally, the DE588 variant is fully certified to meet US Naval specifications, making it suitable for defense and military applications.
