Delrin® sheets and Delrin rods exhibit characteristics similar to industrial metals like brass, aluminum, zinc, and stainless steel, as they are made from Delrin plastic, a homopolymer acetal (POM). Key properties include stiffness, dimensional stability, impact resistance, and structural strength. Delrin® 150 serves as the standard general-purpose, unfilled acetal grade, renowned for having the best impact toughness among all unfilled Delrin products. The Delrin rods are manufactured in standard lengths of 10 feet, with a maximum length also set at 10 feet.
