Delrin® AF Blend is a specialized thermoplastic material designed for applications involving moving parts where low friction and extended wear life are critical. This material integrates PTFE fibers, uniformly dispersed within Delrin® acetal resin, with a standard composition of 13% PTFE. Additionally, a full-strength version, Delrin 100AF, which contains 20% PTFE, can be ordered upon request. The Delrin 100AF variant, known as DE588, is fully certified to meet US Naval specifications, ensuring compliance with rigorous performance standards.
