Delrin® AF Blend is a specialized thermoplastic material designed for moving parts where low friction and extended wear life are essential. This material consists of Delrin® acetal resin blended with 13% PTFE fibers, providing exceptional performance characteristics. The product typically includes 13% PTFE fiber-filled LF-13 and is consistently 13% PTFE powder-filled. For custom orders, full-strength Delrin 100AF, which contains 20% PTFE, is also available. Additionally, DE588 is a variant of Delrin® 100AF that is fully certified for US Naval specifications, ensuring compliance with stringent military requirements.
