Delrin® AF Blend is a unique thermoplastic material designed for applications involving moving parts where low friction and long wear life are essential. This material consists of PTFE fibers, specifically 13% PTFE, uniformly dispersed in Delrin® acetal resin, making it suitable for demanding environments. Delrin® AF Blend typically includes LF-13, which features the consistent 13% PTFE powder filling. For specialized needs, a full-strength version, Delrin 100AF with 20% PTFE, is available on a custom order basis. Furthermore, the DE588 variant of Delrin® 100AF is fully certified for US Naval specifications, ensuring compliance with stringent industry standards.
