Puckboard, also referred to as arena board or hockey board, is a versatile and adaptive plastic material made from sturdy HDPE (high density polyethylene), providing exceptional toughness and resilience, capable of withstanding impacts without cracking or breaking even in freezing temperatures. This product is highly impact resistant and exhibits strong resistance to a wide range of chemicals, making it suitable for cold weather applications. Puckboard is commonly used in various applications, including agriculture, chemical transfer, liners, wall coverings, and animal and livestock containment such as horse stalls and slow feeder hay boxes. It is available in different thicknesses for resurfacing existing or new dasherboards in hockey rinks, with typical thicknesses of .250", .375", and .500", and standard sizes of 48" x 96" and 60" x 96". Additionally, cap rails and kick plates often utilize thicker sheets with typical thicknesses of .500", .750", and 1.0".
