Delrin® AF Blend (Delrin® AF Blend with 13% PTFE [Standard Grade]) is a specialized thermoplastic material engineered for applications requiring low friction and extended wear life in moving parts. This material combines PTFE fibers uniformly dispersed in Delrin® acetal resin, with the standard composition containing 13% PTFE fiber-filled LF-13, while a full-strength variant, Delrin 100AF, containing 20% PTFE, is available upon custom order. Additionally, the DE588 variant of Delrin® 100AF is fully certified for compliance with U.S. Naval specifications. The combination of these features makes Delrin® AF Blend suitable for high-performance applications where durability and reduced friction are critical.
