Delrin® AF blend is a specialized thermoplastic material designed for applications requiring low friction and extended wear life in moving parts. Composed of Delrin® acetal resin with 13% uniformly dispersed PTFE fibers, this blend is typically represented by LF-13 and includes a consistent 13% PTFE powder filling. For specific custom requirements, a full-strength variant, Delrin 100AF, which contains 20% PTFE, is available. Notably, the DE588 variant of Delrin® 100AF is fully certified for US Naval specifications, ensuring compliance with stringent military standards.
