Delrin® AF Blend is a specialized thermoplastic material designed for applications involving moving parts where low friction and extended wear life are critical. This blend consists of Delrin® acetal resin combined with 13% PTFE fibers, ensuring enhanced performance characteristics. Delrin® AF Blend is typically formulated with LF-13, which contains 13% PTFE powder, providing a reliable solution for various engineering challenges. Full-strength Delrin® 100AF, containing 20% PTFE, is available through custom orders for applications requiring even greater durability. Furthermore, the DE588 variant of Delrin® 100AF is fully certified to meet US naval specifications, making it suitable for demanding military applications.
