Delrin® sheets and rods exhibit characteristics similar to industrial metals like brass, aluminum, zinc, and stainless steel, as Delrin plastic is a homopolymer acetal (POM). Typical properties of Delrin include stiffness, dimensional stability, impact resistance, and structural strength. Delrin® 150, which is the standard general-purpose, unfilled acetal grade, offers the best impact toughness among unfilled Delrin products. Delrin rods are manufactured in standard lengths of 10 feet, with a maximum length of 10 feet.
