Plexiglass mirror, an acrylic mirror product, is available in standard thicknesses of .118" (1/8") and .220" (1/4"), with a special order option for .236" (1/4") thickness. Customers can choose full sheets or cut-to-size options in clear or various colors, with clear mirror defined as standard non-tinted or "silver mirror." The colored acrylic mirror offers unique design possibilities and can be saw cut to size or laser cut into custom shapes. All colors are produced with a continuously manufactured substrate that comes with a non-delamination guarantee. Features of the acrylic mirror include options for reduced glare, scratch resistance, adhesive backing, and custom masking on both the front and back. Common applications include ceiling tiles, lavatory mirrors, observation mirrors, fitness center mirrors, sunglass racks, jewelry cases, signage, cosmetic displays, end-cap displays, auto backup mirrors, and interior trim and accessories, as well as security mirrors and children's interactive learning toys. However, it is important to note that large installations are not recommended, as acrylic is less rigid than glass, causing larger mirrored sheets to bow and produce distorted images unless properly mounted in a rigid frame or flat backing.
