Tygon® E-1000 peristaltic pump tubing is a non-DEHP food, beverage, and laboratory tubing designed for food and beverage dispensing. This soft and flexible tubing features a formulation containing non-DEHP (bis (2-ethylhexyl) phthalate) plasticizers while delivering superior performance consistent with Tygon® tubing standards. It has undergone rigorous testing to meet the same physical standards, including low-temperature and corrosive chemical resistance as the previous Tygon® R-1000 tubing. Tygon® ultra-soft tubing resists twisting and collapse, common issues with other tubing products, and remains flexible at temperatures as low as -67°F (-55°C). The extremely low durometer is particularly suited for low-torque or battery-driven peristaltic pumps, and Tygon® ultra-soft tubing typically outlasts silicone tubing in peristaltic pump applications by a factor of 2 to 1.
