Oil-filled nylon, available in green color, features a special formulation of liquid lubricant encapsulated during manufacture, providing true lubrication at the bearing surface. This material is ideal for applications where maintenance lubrication is difficult or impossible, as it limits moisture adsorption, making it suitable for submerged or critical tolerance applications. Additionally, Nyloil® green oil-filled nylon is offered in a natural-oil variant for food contact applications. The absence of pigment in this natural color grade allows it to conform with FDA regulations 21 CFR, sec. 177.15 and USDA 3A sanitary standards 20-17, permitting direct contact with food.
