Bearing grade Ketron® HPV PEEK has excellent wear resistance, featuring the lowest coefficient of friction and outstanding machining characteristics among filled PEEK stock shapes. The incorporation of carbon fibers, PTFE, and graphite into virgin PEEK creates a "bearing grade" version of Ketron PEEK. This grade exhibits exceptional tribological properties, including low friction, long wear, and high pressure-velocity capabilities, making it particularly suitable for bearing and wear applications. The maximum operating temperature for this material is 482°F continuous.
