Bearing grade KETRON® HPV PEEK exhibits exceptional wear resistance along with the lowest coefficient of friction and superior machining characteristics among filled PEEK stock shapes. The incorporation of carbon fibers, PTFE, and graphite into virgin PEEK produces a KETRON PEEK "bearing grade," which offers outstanding tribological properties such as low friction, extended wear life, and high pressure-velocity capabilities, making it particularly well-suited for bearing and wear applications. This material can operate continuously at a maximum temperature of 482°F.
