Oil-filled nylon, available in green color, features a special formulation of liquid lubricant that is encapsulated during manufacture to provide true lubrication at the bearing surface, making it ideal for applications where maintenance lubrication is difficult or impossible. This material also limits moisture adsorption, making it suitable for submerged or critical tolerance applications. Additionally, Nyloil® green oil-filled nylon is available in natural-oil for food contact applications. The absence of pigment in the natural color version allows it to conform with FDA regulations 21 CFR, Sec. 177.15 and USDA 3A sanitary standards 20-17 for direct contact with food.
