Oil-filled nylon, available in green color, features a special formulation of liquid lubricant encapsulated during manufacture, providing true lubrication at the bearing surface. This material is ideal for applications where maintenance lubrication is challenging or impossible and effectively limits moisture adsorption, making it suitable for submerged or critical tolerance applications. Additionally, oil-filled nylon is offered in a natural oil version for food contact applications; this absence of pigment allows this grade to conform with FDA regulations 21 CFR, Sec. 177.15 and USDA 3A sanitary standards 20-17 for direct contact with food.
