Oil-filled nylon (green color) is a specialized material featuring a unique formulation of liquid lubricant encapsulated during manufacturing, providing effective lubrication at the bearing surface. This material is ideal for applications where maintenance lubrication is challenging or impossible, as it limits moisture adsorption, making it suitable for submerged or critical tolerance applications. Additionally, Nyloil® green oil-filled nylon is available in a natural-oil variant designed for food contact applications, with its absence of pigment (natural color) allowing it to meet FDA regulations 21 CFR, sec. 177.15 and USDA 3A sanitary standards 20-17 for direct contact with food.
