Bearing grade Ketron® HPV PEEK has excellent wear resistance, featuring the lowest coefficient of friction and superior machining characteristics among filled PEEK stock shapes. The incorporation of carbon fibers, PTFE, and graphite into virgin PEEK produces a Ketron PEEK "bearing grade." This material exhibits outstanding tribological properties, including low friction, long wear, and high pressure-velocity capabilities, making it particularly suitable for bearing and wear applications. The maximum operating temperature for this grade is 482°F continuous.
