The oil-filled nylon, available in green color, is a specially formulated liquid lubricant encapsulated during manufacture to provide effective lubrication at the bearing surface, making it suitable for applications where maintenance lubrication is challenging or impossible. This material limits moisture adsorption, making it ideal for submerged or critical tolerance applications. The product also includes Nyloil® green oil-filled nylon, which is available in a natural oil variant for food contact applications. The absence of pigment in the natural grade allows it to conform to FDA regulations 21 CFR, sec. 177.15 and USDA 3A sanitary standards 20-17 for direct contact with food.
