Tygon® 2475 high-purity tubing replaces the Tygon 2275 formulation, offering a plasticizer-free solution that incorporates advanced polymer technology to deliver a completely clear and flexible option for sensitive fluid transfer applications. This tubing is hydrophobic, effectively resisting the absorption and adsorption of aqueous fluids, which minimizes the risk of fluid alteration in both single- and repeat-use situations. The smooth inner surface of Tygon® 2475 prevents particulate entrapment on the tubing walls, thereby reducing the potential for bacterial growth and contamination.
