Bearing grade Ketron® HPV PEEK has excellent wear resistance, the lowest coefficient of friction, and superior machining characteristics compared to filled PEEK stock shapes. The incorporation of carbon fibers, PTFE, and graphite into virgin PEEK yields a Ketron PEEK "bearing grade." This material showcases outstanding tribological properties, including low friction, prolonged wear life, and high pressure-velocity capabilities, making it particularly ideal for bearing and wear applications. It can operate at a maximum continuous temperature of 482°F.
