Tygon® E-1000 peristaltic pump tubing is a non-DEHP food, beverage, and laboratory tubing designed for efficient food and beverage dispensing. This soft and flexible tubing formulation features non-DEHP (bis (2-ethylhexyl) phthalate) plasticizers, delivering superior performance consistent with Tygon® standards. The tubing has been rigorously tested to meet stringent physical specifications, including low temperature and corrosive chemical resistance, similar to the previous Tygon® R-1000 tubing. Tygon® E-1000's ultra-soft nature helps prevent twisting and collapse, common issues associated with other tubing products. It maintains flexibility at temperatures as low as -67° F (-55° C) and is characterized by an extremely low durometer, making it suitable for low-torque or battery-driven peristaltic pumps. Notably, Tygon® ultra-soft tubing is known to outlast silicone tubing in peristaltic pump applications with a lifespan that typically exceeds silicone by a factor of 2 to 1.
