Tygon® E-LFL non-DEHP laboratory pump tubing offers superior performance with a formulation that utilizes a widely accepted substitute for DEHP plasticizer. This product belongs to the Tygon® E Series, which complies with new global regulatory standards, having evolved from classic Tygon® formulations. The Tygon® E-LFL formulation has undergone rigorous testing to meet the same physical standards as the original Tygon® LFL, demonstrating 800 hours of pump life at 0 PSI back pressure, low particle spallation, and exceptional chemical resistance. Its non-aging characteristics and broad chemical resistance enable versatility across various applications. The tubing can withstand virtually all commercial cleaning agents and bactericides without the risk of corrosion or oxidation. Additionally, it displays excellent wear properties, thus reducing particulate spallation and downstream contamination concerns. Typical applications for Tygon® E-LFL include production filtration and fermentation, surfactant delivery, highly viscous fluid transfer, shear-sensitive fluid transfer, and flavor and vitamin concentrate dispensing.
