GPO-3 glass reinforced thermoset polyester sheets are engineered for electrical applications that demand high arc and carbon track resistance, as well as flame resistance, physical strength, and moderate heat resistance. This laminate is commonly utilized in the production of phase and end barriers, insulating supports, bus bar supports, and mounting panels in switchgear and various types of electrical apparatus. GPO-3 is a UL recognized product featuring a temperature index of 120 degrees Celsius for electrical applications and 140 degrees Celsius for mechanical applications. It is available in thicknesses ranging from 1/32" (.031") to 2.00" thick and is offered in a standard red color, along with specialty colors such as black and white. The standard grade of GPO-3 is H900, and it is also available in a variety of profiles, including angles and channels, supplied by Professional Plastics.
