Kynar® 740 is an engineering thermoplastic that combines the stable characteristics of a fluoropolymer with mechanical strength, abrasion resistance, and high purity. Kynar® 740 PVDF sheets and rods provide excellent chemical resistance, UV radiation resistance, and low permeability, making them suitable for various applications in the semiconductor, pulp and paper, and pharmaceutical industries, as well as for nuclear waste management and chemical and food processing. The sheets feature a double-masked surface and come with fully traceable and verifiable resin, ensuring chemical resistance and UV stability. The dimensions of the sheets are 4 x 8 ft, with thicknesses ranging from 1/8 to 1 in. Additionally, the sheets exhibit tolerance consistency per ASTM D6713-01 and have combustibility approvals from FM 4910, UL2360, and ASTM E84. Kynar® is a registered trademark of Elf Atochem.
