Kynar® 740 is an engineering thermoplastic that offers the stable characteristics of a fluoropolymer, mechanical strength, abrasion resistance, and high purity. Kynar® 740 PVDF sheets and rods provide excellent chemical resistance, UV radiation resistance, and low permeability, making it suitable for applications in the semiconductor, pulp and paper, and pharmaceutical industries, as well as in nuclear waste, chemical, and food processing. The sheets feature a double-masked surface, fully traceable and verifiable resin, and demonstrate chemical resistance and UV stability. The dimensions of the sheets are 4 x 8 ft with thickness options ranging from 1/8 to 1 inch. They also comply with tolerance consistency per ASTM D6713-01 and have combustibility approvals by FM 4910, UL 2360, and ASTM E84. Kynar® is a registered trademark of Elf Atochem.
