Kynar® 740 is an engineering thermoplastic that combines the stable characteristics of a fluoropolymer with mechanical strength, abrasion resistance, and high purity. This material is available in PVDF sheets and rods, providing excellent chemical resistance, UV radiation resistance, and low permeability. Kynar® 740 is suitable for various applications, including the semiconductor, pulp and paper, and pharmaceutical industries, as well as for nuclear waste, and chemical and food processing. The sheets feature a double-masked surface, fully traceable and verifiable resin, and are designed for chemical resistance and UV stability. Each sheet measures 4 x 8 ft and comes in thicknesses ranging from 1/8 to 1 inch. The sheets adhere to tolerance consistency per ASTM D6713-01 and have combustibility approvals by FM 4910, UL2360, and ASTM E84. Kynar® is a registered trademark of Elf Atochem.
