GPO-3 glass reinforced thermoset polyester sheets are designed for electrical applications requiring high arc and carbon track resistance, flame resistance, physical strength, and moderate heat resistance. This laminate is extensively used for manufacturing phase and end barriers, insulating supports, bus bar supports, and mounting panels in switchgear and various types of electrical apparatus. The GPO-3 laminate is a UL recognized product featuring a temperature index of 120 degrees Celsius for electrical applications and 140 degrees Celsius for mechanical applications. It is molded in thicknesses ranging from 1/32" (0.031") to 2.00" thick and is available in standard red as well as specialty colors including black and white. The standard GPO-3 grade supplied by Professional Plastics is H900, and the material is also offered in a variety of profiles, including angles and channels.
