GPO-3 glass reinforced thermoset polyester sheets are designed for electrical applications requiring high arc and carbon track resistance, as well as flame resistance, physical strength, and moderate heat resistance. This laminate is extensively utilized in the manufacturing of phase and end barriers, insulating supports, bus bar supports, and mounting panels in switchgear and other electrical apparatus. GPO-3 is a UL recognized product featuring a temperature index of 120 degrees Celsius for electrical applications and 140 degrees Celsius for mechanical applications. It is available in thicknesses ranging from 1/32" (.031") to 2.00" thick and is produced in standard red, with specialty colors including black and white. The standard GPO-3 grade is the H900 grade, offered by Professional Plastics, which also supplies GPO-3 in various profiles, including angles and channels.
