GPO-3 glass reinforced thermoset polyester sheets are designed for electrical applications that require high arc and carbon track resistance, as well as flame resistance, physical strength, and moderate heat resistance. This laminate is extensively utilized in the manufacturing of phase and end barriers, insulating supports, bus bar supports, and mounting panels in switchgear and other electrical apparatus. GPO-3 is a UL recognized product with a temperature index of 120 degrees Celsius for electrical applications and 140 degrees Celsius for mechanical applications, and is available in thicknesses ranging from 1/32" (.031") to 2.00". It is produced in standard red color and specialty colors such as black and white. The standard grade of GPO-3 supplied by Professional Plastics is H900, and it is also offered in various profiles, including angles and channels.
