GPO-3 glass reinforced thermoset polyester sheets are designed for electrical applications requiring high arc and carbon track resistance, flame resistance, physical strength, and moderate heat resistance. This laminate is extensively utilized in the manufacture of phase and end barriers, insulating supports, bus bar supports, and mounting panels in switchgear and various types of electrical apparatus. GPO-3 is a UL recognized product with a temperature index of 120 degrees Celsius for electrical applications and 140 degrees Celsius for mechanical applications. The sheets are molded in thicknesses ranging from 1/32" (.031") to 2.00" thick and are available in standard red as well as specialty colors, including black and white. The standard GPO-3 grade, H900, is supplied by Professional Plastics, which also offers GPO-3 in a variety of profiles, including angles and channels.
