Cogetherm® mica plates are engineered for high-performance thermal and electrical insulation, specifically designed for electromechanical and thermomechanical applications. The product is available in two standard types: Cogetherm M (muscovite) and Cogetherm P (phlogopite). Cogetherm M comprises approximately 90% Cogemica muscovite and 10% bonding material, offering the highest resistance to pressure and is recommended for complex cut pieces, with a continuous service temperature of up to 500° C (932° F). Conversely, Cogetherm P contains approximately 90% Cogemica-phlogopite and 10% bonding material, featuring lower pressure resistance and suitable for continuous applications exceeding 500° C (932° F). Both types are available in "desmoked" grades, MC and PC, which produce reduced fumes during the initial application. The standard untrimmed plate size measures 40" x 48", which can be cut down to 20" x 24" sheets for shipping. Additionally, thin gauge muscovite 505 and muscovite 132, as well as phlogopite 505 and phlogopite 132 sheets, are available in dimensions of 39.27" x 23.62" and 47.24" x 39.29".
