The kit offers the working volume of a culture tube and the convenience of a 96 well plate format, making it suitable for a variety of processes and operations such as sequencing, precipitations, and dilutions, as well as compatibility with deep freezing work or sample storage. It is individually packaged and available in sterile or non-sterile options. Designed for manual 8 and 12 multi-channel pipetting procedures, the kit is compatible with robotic sampling processors and automated liquid handling systems, including ZYMARK, Tecan, Hamilton, RASYS, and Beckman; it requires side loader collars for side loading Beckman Biomek systems. The plates are molded from autoclavable polypropylene, with each 2ml well featuring a round bottom for easy sample retrieval and alphanumeric identification. An optional polypropylene, keyed fit cover with a sealing ring can be used to separate each well, effectively reducing evaporation and allowing for safe and stable stacking of plates. The plates are steam autoclavable at 121°C (250°F). The dimensions of the kit are 12.8 x 8.5 x 4.1 cm (5 x 3 x 1"). Note: Sterilized products are not returnable.
