This rack is designed for the safe transport and incubation of 60mm Petri dishes, facilitating efficient benchtop sample processing. It features a base made of epoxy-coated steel, while other components are constructed from white polypropylene. The rack ships flat and can be easily assembled in minutes. It consists of six columns that can hold up to fifty-four Petri dishes with lids and has a base area of 10 x 6 inches to optimize benchtop space. A large center divider is included for labeling, along with a carrying handle that does not interfere with samples. Up to four racks can be stacked and interlocked to prevent accidental tipping. The design incorporates finger access slots in the base for safely removing a stack of dishes with a secure grip. Additionally, the rack is steam autoclavable at 121°C (250°F).
