The strong, permanent adhesive on these labels withstands cold storage temperatures and maintains adhesion to glass, plastic, cardboard, and more, even in liquid nitrogen, making them ideal for organizing and labeling samples for both short and long-term cold storage in environments down to -196°C. The DOT and rectangle shaped labels are specifically sized for 0.5 to 2.0 mL cryogenic tubes and feature dimensions of 67 x 25 mm (2.6 x 1.0") for labeling large tubes, cryo boxes, and racks. These labels are available in sheets or rolls; sheets can be fed through a standard inkjet or laser printer using the appropriate template. The overall thickness of the coated label is 7 mil, and they can be used with non-water soluble printer inks and markers or with the wet surface pen F13382-0000. For easy removal of labels, the use of Label-Off™ label remover F17077-0000 is recommended. Additionally, these labels are autoclavable at 121°C (250°F).
