The protective labeling system features labels designed to withstand harsh laboratory conditions, utilizing clear tape that protects against freezer environments, autoclaving, acids, alkalis, and organic solvents. Test results indicate that the tape remains securely affixed with no discoloration after autoclaving for 40 minutes at 125°C (258°F) and after one week in liquid nitrogen at -196°C (-321°F). The tape is 1 mil (0.001") thick and includes 1 mil (0.001") of acrylic adhesive. Please note that all items are sold separately. The durable tape dispenser is constructed from strong ABS plastic and includes a steel serrated cutting blade, with the tape roll secured by an aluminum roller and a spring-loaded cover. Additionally, an optional epoxy-coated, weighted steel base is available to minimize slippage during tape dispensing, featuring four non-slip rubber feet and screws. The clear polypropylene tape is highly resistant to chemicals and moisture, offering versatility for heavy-duty lab use. White paper labels are compatible with any marker, making them ideal for labeling labware, bottles, or samples under the protective clear tape.
