The magnetic separation racks are designed for efficient magnetic bead manipulation in various assays, facilitating the addition or decanting of affinity ligands, rinse solutions, and proprietary reagents. The kit includes independent sleeves for 50ml and 15/5ml models that enhance liquid addition and removal while minimizing accidental fluid loss. Each model features powerful magnets to securely hold beads in place, and a spring plunger on tube sleeves for 1.5 to 50ml tubes allows for the sequestering of beads at different heights along the tube wall. The 96-well PCR plate model incorporates 24 magnets that firmly hold the plate and attract beads to the tube walls, while the flat bottom microplate model covers the entire footprint to accommodate all standard microplates, including those with 6, 12, 24, 48, and 96 wells. Racks conform to ANSI standards for microplates, and the clear acrylic construction provides an unobstructed view of tube contents.
