The magnetic separation racks are designed for sequestering magnetic beads in various experiments, enabling the addition or decanting of affinity ligands such as antibodies, streptavidin, or proprietary reagents for nucleic acid coupling. Each kit includes models for 50 ml and 15/5 ml tubes with independent patent-pending sleeves that facilitate liquid addition and removal while minimizing accidental fluid loss. The powerful magnets securely hold the beads, and the spring plunger on the 1.5 to 50 ml tube sleeves allows for the sequestering of beads at different heights along the tube walls, enhancing bead mixing efficiency. The 96-well PCR plate model features 24 magnets that hold the plate in place while attracting beads to the tube walls, whereas the flat bottom microplate model encompasses the entire footprint, accommodating all standard microplates with varying well counts, including 6, 12, 24, 48, or 96 wells. These racks conform to ANSI standard dimensions and the clear acrylic construction provides an unobstructed view of tube contents.
