Safety-vented wash bottles are designed to ensure compliance with the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals (GHS) and OSHA's HazCom 2012 requirements regarding workplace labels. Each bottle is pre-printed with essential information, including the chemical name and formula, GHS pictogram and signal word, National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Section 704 four-color diamond, health hazards, Chemical Abstract System (CAS) number, and recommended protective clothing and equipment. The unique valve design prevents pressure build-up, eliminating hazardous chemical drips and allowing for dispensing in both upright and inverted positions. The bottles feature a wide mouth measuring 53mm (2") for easy refilling and are constructed from translucent LDPE; the sodium hypochlorite bottle is white LDPE, providing light protection between 230 and 450nm, while the toluene bottle is red LDPE. Color-coded polypropylene closures facilitate quick and easy identification. The kit includes four 500ml bottles (one each of acetone, isopropanol, bleach, and ethanol) per bag, or two 1000ml bottles per bag.
