The polyethylene plastic table-top Buchner funnel is designed for filtering large volumes quickly, accommodating your choice of Fritware® or perforated filter plates. It features a removable hose barbed connector that accepts a 12.7 mm I.D. tube, which threads into a 1" NPT bung on the funnel. The funnel supports fixed or removable Fritware® porous filter plates that rest on a multiple ring grid made of 6.4 mm HDPE, equipped with a non-porous ring at the periphery to seal filter paper. Fritware® porous filter plates come in two porosities: medium (45-90 microns) and coarse (90-130 microns), with a use temperature range of -20°C (-4°F) to 52°C (125°F). Fixed or removable perforated filter plates, made of 4.8 mm thick HDPE with 4.8 mm perforations on 11 mm centers, are available for coarse filtration or with cloth/paper filters, and also share the same temperature tolerance. Additionally, the F36820-0118 funnel trowel is included for smoothing fissures during filtration. Note that truck shipping is required for 36" funnels.
