Filter large volumes quickly with a polyethylene plastic table-top Buchner funnel that allows you to choose between Fritware® or perforated filter plates. The funnel comes with a removable hose barbed connector that accepts 12.7mm (") I.D. tube and screws into a " NPT bung. It features fixed or removable Fritware® porous filter plates supported by a multiple ring grid made of 6.4mm (") thick HDPE, which has a non-porous ring at the periphery to seal filter paper during use. Fritware® plates are available in two porosities: medium (45-90 microns) and coarse (90-130 microns), with a use temperature range of maximum 52°C (125°F) and minimum -20°C (-4°F). The fixed or removable perforated filter plates are crafted from 4.8mm (") thick HDPE, featuring 4.8mm (") perforations on 11mm (") centers. These plates come in fixed versions for coarse filtration or use with cloth/paper filters, and removable versions for precious metals recovery, maintaining the same temperature range as the Fritware® plates. Additionally, the funnel trowel model F36820-0118 can be used to efficiently smooth fissures that may arise during the filtration process. Note that truck shipping is required for 36" funnels.
