High-density polyethylene jerricans feature a distinctive 20cm (8") long spout equipped with a built-in air vent, enhancing pouring efficiency. The 5-gallon jerrican includes a 2.5cm (1") internal diameter pouring spout, while other sizes are fitted with 1.9cm (¾") internal diameter spouts. The spout retracts into the threaded collar to save space, and the collar is sealed with a leakproof screw cap to prevent spills. An extra hand grip located at the bottom provides positive control during pouring, and there is additional headspace to accommodate the expansion of contents. The jerricans are graduated in U.S. gallons and liters for accurate measurement.
