Bel-Art's safety labeled wash bottles are designed to enhance workplace safety by incorporating Department of Transportation (DOT) and National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) codes and symbols, Chemical Abstract Service (CAS) number, protective equipment symbols, and target organ information. These easy-to-read printed bottles feature a wide mouth 53mm (2") opening for effortless refilling and are made from translucent, LDPE solvent-resistant material; sodium hypochlorite is contained in a white LDPE bottle for light protection between 230 and 450nm, while toluene is stored in a red LDPE bottle. The wash bottles come with polypropylene closures, ensuring compliance with OSHA requirements as outlined in Hazard Communication Standard 29 CFR 1910.1200.
