Bel-Art's safety labeled wash bottles are designed with essential compliance and safety features, including Department of Transportation (DOT) and National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) codes and symbols, Chemical Abstract Service (CAS) numbers, protective equipment symbols, and target organ information. The bottles are easy to read and feature a wide mouth measuring 53mm (2 inches) for convenient refilling. Constructed from translucent, LDPE that is solvent-resistant, the sodium hypochlorite bottle is made from white LDPE for light protection between 230 and 450nm, while the toluene bottle is made from red LDPE. Each bottle includes polypropylene closures, ensuring they meet OSHA requirements outlined in the Hazard Communication Standard 29 CFR 1910.1200.
